- Question:
- What's this song? It's kind of a hip hop song ?
It starts out with a baritone saxophone (possibly a tenor saxophone) and the tempo is kind of fast. It's a hip hop song, pretty popular, and I have no idea of any lyrics or who sings it, let alone if they are male or female. I just remember that intro. Any ideas? Thanks in advance =] - Answer:

- Question:
- What's this 80's song?
Guys, last day on the radio I heart one really good 80's song. It was by a man and it had great tenor saxophone solo. All I remember from the lyrics was something like: Babe, come to me...right now! I would be harry to know it's name, cause I really liked the song :) It's not the hall and oates song. I remember there was a little pause between he says 'right now'. Smth like babe, come back (not sure if it was come back, but it was something with 'come') ,then a little pause and 'right now'! - Answer:
- it sounds like that old song baby please come back. cant live without you come back. i think it was hall&oats/
- Question:
- Uhh.... Can somebody please tell me a website that explains song lyrics?
ok this is the song i am working on,. Jailhouse rock by Elvis The warden threw a party in the county jail The prison band was there and they began to wail The band was jumping and the joint began to swing You should've heard those knocked-out jailbirds sing Let's rock, everybody, let's rock Everybody in the whole cell block Was a-dancing to the Jailhouse Rock Spider Murphy played the tenor saxophone Little Joe was blowing on the slide trombone The drummer boy from Illinois went crash, boom, bang The whole rhythm section was the Purple Gang Let's rock, everybody, let's rock Everybody in the whole cell block Was a-dancing to the Jailhouse Rock Number forty-seven said to number three "You're the cutest jailbird I ever did see I sure would be delighted with your company Come on and do the Jailhouse Rock with me" Let's rock, everybody, let's rock Everybody in the whole cell block Was a-dancing to the Jailhouse Rock The sad sack was a sitting on a block of stone Way over in the corner, weeping all alone The warden said, "Hey, buddy, don't you be no square If you can't find a partner use a wooden chair" Let's rock, everybody, let's rock Everybody in the whole cell block Was a-dancing to the Jailhouse Rock Shifty Henry said to Bugs, "For Heaven's sake No one's looking, now's our chance to make a break" Bugsy turned to Shifty and he said, "Nix nix I want to stick around a while and get my kicks" Let's rock, everybody, let's rock Everybody in the whole cell block Was a-dancing to the Jailhouse Rock I do not want any garbage websites that just tells the lyrics. Or perhaps you could just point out the difficult meanins in this song. Oh. By the way, what does "get my kicks" mean? Ok, the first answer guy, that is the same lyric as what i had. THINK FIRST AND ANSWER. - Answer:
- "Get My Kicks" means to have a good time. Here's some of the breakdown =========================================================== The warden threw a party in the county jail (self explanatory) The prison band was there and they began to wail (they played loudly) The band was jumping and the joint began to swing (they were into the music) You should've heard those knocked-out jailbirds sing (they were good, you should have been there) Let's rock, everybody, let's rock Everybody in the whole cell block Was a-dancing to the Jailhouse Rock Spider Murphy played the tenor saxophone (self explanatory) Little Joe was blowing on the slide trombone (self explanatory) The drummer boy from Illinois went crash, boom, bang (drummer played that rhythm) The whole rhythm section was the Purple Gang (Look up "Purple Gang" on wikipedia to learn the reference) Let's rock, everybody, let's rock Everybody in the whole cell block Was a-dancing to the Jailhouse Rock Number forty-seven said to number three (These are prison numbers, so #47 inmate is talking to #3) "You're the cutest jailbird I ever did see (Its an inmate coming onto another inmate) I sure would be delighted with your company (self explanatory) Come on and do the Jailhouse Rock with me" (Let's hope he just means dance/sing, etc) Let's rock, everybody, let's rock Everybody in the whole cell block Was a-dancing to the Jailhouse Rock The sad sack was a sitting on a block of stone (A sad sack is a depressed person, or buzzkill) Way over in the corner, weeping all alone (self explanatory) The warden said, "Hey, buddy, don't you be no square (a square is an uncool person) If you can't find a partner use a wooden chair" (self explanatory) Let's rock, everybody, let's rock Everybody in the whole cell block Was a-dancing to the Jailhouse Rock Shifty Henry said to Bugs, "For Heaven's sake (a idiom about surprise or shock) No one's looking, now's our chance to make a break" (escape from prison) Bugsy turned to Shifty and he said, "Nix nix (nix nix, means never mind) I want to stick around a while and get my kicks" (have a good time) Let's rock, everybody, let's rock Everybody in the whole cell block Was a-dancing to the Jailhouse Rock =========================================================== Anyway, I hope that helps, and you're no longer feel like a square.
