Questions and Answers
- Question:
- how do i make a saxophone stand and veggie saxophone?
i don't want my saxophone to lay on the floor but i also don't want to pay for and over priced stand and for science i want to make a veggie saxophone like the guy that makes the carrot clarinet - Answer:
- Look online for different sax stands. There are a ton of them that don't cost a bunch---a whole lot less than a repair when you do set it on the floor and someone damages it. Read the reviews on how steady each is and ask around. Check to see what your local music store can order in and how much they'll charge---you won't have the shipping if bought online. For your saxophone, just recreate the carrot clarinet and use a soprano sax mouthpiece (which is what that looks like anyways). It'll be a straight soprano. If you're determined to get a curve, hit your local produce department (or farmers' market) and start talking to the manager. See what he can suggest in regards to other veggies and how to get it to bend. Once it's soft enough to bend, however, I don't know if it will harden back up. Cool video, though.

- Question:
- what are good stores to find a music stand and get a saxophone fixed in houston?
anywhere besides guitar center - Answer:
- Try Evans Music Center on Westheimer near Chimney Rock. I think most of the H & Hs have gone out of business, but I may be wrong.
- Question:
