- How do you remove permanent marker from a saxophone case?
The outside of the case was black leather with several discolored spots and tears, and the bad spots were colored in with black permanent marker. It looked good wet, but once it dried the color did not match the black leather case. Should I try to remove the marker, or try something else? *It's probably vinyl instead of leather - Answer:
- You can try to remove the marker with some rubbing alcohol or hairspray (it contains alcohol). But as far as fixing the case, I suggest finding a vinyl repair kit (most likely your case is vinyl not true leather). You can repair the tears and holes with that.

- Is there a way to get the musty smell out of a saxophone case that has been in storage for several years?
- Answer:
- Sprinkle some baking soda in it and set it outside in the sun. You may have to do this for several days. Good Luck! :)

okay so i lost the keys to my saxophone case. do you know if i can just go get a new pair just by giving it the serial number? can i get them in any music store or would i have to get them where i bought my saxophone? oh yea and i bought the keys in morey's music around lakewood california. - Answer:
- These days, you can take almost any serial number of a lock to a locksmith and they can make you a key straight away. All you have to do is take the case to a locksmith and he should be able to make you a key, in just a couple minutes, and for 5 $ or less.
